Black Forest Cake
This is a four layer, chocolate buttermilk cake. Each layer is drizzled with kirsch cherry liqueur before being filled with cherries and a cream made with butter and buttermilk. The top layer is then drizzled with a combination of real vanilla extract and kirsch cherry liqueur. It is frosted with a cloud of real whipped cream and finished with dark chocolate shavings. The perfect special occasion cake.
